My name is Christopher Mann, and I have been involved in the industry since I was a young boy cleaning around the shop and sorting nuts and bolts. I grew up in this business and held many positions including most of them here at Roberts. I also have several years in manufacturing where I was in materials and scheduling, spent five years in testing and developing garage doors and operators as a mechanical and electronic analyst. This experience has taught me how doors and operators breakdown, what their failure points are, and the types of things you can do to help your garage door and operator last a long time.
I have decided to write a blog for those who visit our website to inform our customers and seekers. What inspired me to add this to our website is after 30 years of experience in the garage door industry, I have noticed things - some good, some bad - things most people are unaware of simply because they are not in the garage door business. So stay tuned into our blog, and watch for "buyer-beware" and maintenance tips, new/improved parts and gadgets.
At Roberts Overdoors, Inc. we are not about big business; we are a small shop who does big things together. Hopefully the readers of this blog will find this helpful and tell others about it because, "We Love Garages, and We Care About Yours!"
